Effect of Information Strategies on the Economic Development of the Central Corridor in Africa
Abstract
This study examined the impact of information strategies on the economic development of the Central Corridor in Africa. The study focused on information systems, data management, and information technology infrastructure as key dimensions of information strategies. A quantitative research approach was employed to collect and analyze data from stakeholders involved in the Central Corridor. The findings revealed that information strategies have a positive and statistically significant effect on economic development. Effective information sharing, digital integration, and data management were found to improve corridor performance, investment opportunities, institutional efficiency, and overall economic growth. The study concludes that information strategies are critical drivers of sustainable economic development within the Central Corridor. It recommends increased investment in digital technologies, integrated information systems, and stakeholder collaboration to maximize economic benefits.
