About the Journal

The DBA Africa Management Review is a quarterly publication of University of Nairobi, (Nairobi, Kenya) in the Department of Business Administration under the Faculty of Business and Management Sciences. We invite scholarly articles that are thought provoking yet interesting, and whose target audience is broad and covers practitioners, scholars and policy makers.

Our focus is Africa. Africa’s dynamic economies, institutions, and communities offer rich, underexplored contexts for impactful scholarship. By centring African perspectives, scholars can generate globally significant insights, shape sustainable development, and influence decision-making across sectors. We encourage authors to develop rigorous, relevant manuscripts grounded in African realities across business practices and scholarship. In particular, we encourage research that draws on local data, indigenous practices, policy challenges, and commercial ingenuity to advance theory while informing practice.

The DBA Africa Management Review is a business and management journal published under ISSN-2224-2023 as an Open Acess (OA) Journal published in English and reviewed through a double blinded/peer reviewed process. We encourage manuscripts in the following thematic areas:

Guidelines to the Authors

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all Authors' Guidelines and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to the guidelines.

If the manuscript  is accepted for publication, you will be asked to pay an Article Publication Fee to cover publications costs.

Article Publication: 200.00 (USD) or Kes. 20,000.00

If you do not have funds to pay such fees, you may request for a waiver through the Editor in Chief. We do not want fees to prevent the publication of worthy work and each request will be determined on their individual merit.
